Meet Our Staff

Dr. Gemma Wall has received her Doctor of Audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA) and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Dr. Wall has been practicing audiology since 2006. She is the president and owner of Hearing Systems and is dedicated to providing quality hearing care to her patients. Dr. Wall takes pride in providing professional hearing assessments and explaining to patients and their family the effects of hearing loss. She enjoys the rehabilitation and management of hearing loss by fitting hearing aids and accessories with advanced technology to meet each individual’s needs. Dr. Wall’s main focus is to improve the quality of life of patients with hearing loss.

Dr. Wall resides in Katy, TX with her husband (Martin), two children (Jack and Malaya) and two German shepherds (Sam and Pearl). Her hobbies include traveling, running, watching movies, dining at restaurants of every cuisine and being part of a bowling leagues. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Max is a licensed audiologist specializing in rehabilitation audiology. He received his bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders and psychology in 1978 and his master’s degree in audiology in 1981 from the State University of NY at Buffalo. While at the University of Buffalo, he worked for a year at the Buffalo Philharmonic orchestra on Project H.E.A.R. (Hearing Electronics Arts Research) where he used assistive listening devices in large auditoriums (FM, Loop and InfraRed).

Max came to Houston in 1981 and worked as a staff audiologist at the U.T. Medical School Ear, Nose and Throat Dept. in the Texas Medical Center. From there he began and developed the audiology service for Cypress- Fairbanks ISD and the Northwest Cooperative for Education of the Deaf (seven school districts). In 1982, he started Hearing Systems Co., which grew into a full-time firm specializing in assistive technology for the deaf and hearing impaired.
